Wanderlust

Such is life for those of us blissfully afflicted with wanderlust.

Where's your next trip?
If you have nothing planned right now, where would you go, if you could?

  1. Yes! We're only headed to visit family this summer, but I am dying to see some new places!

  2. Provoking thought. Some place cool. It is so hot here in the desert right now.

    1. Hi Marty,
I'm sure summers are brutal in the desert. How about Alaska? Thanks for stopping by. :-)

  3. Don't leave New England! I've seen other parts of the country and most of them aren't pretty. Stay put!

    1. I do love New England, but I love the topographical diversity as well. If anything, it makes me appreciate New England more.

    1. It is a little sad, but comforting to know that you can find a piece of home in more than one place.

  5. My husband and I don't take large trips. I'm not much of a traveler. But we love going to the lake!

    1. Lakes are wonderful, Crystal. I grew up swimming in the larger lakes of New Hampshire and it was so much fun. There is a definite respite near the water...regardless of what form it takes.

  6. I love that quote. We're going to Oregon for a 2 week Oregon road trip in August. We're going to hike Crater Lake and the Columbia River Gorge, visit Portland and Bend, and drive up the coast. Can't wait!

  7. I love that quote. It's kind of true. We are going back up to Maine in August, but headed further inland this time. And between now and then...day trips. If I could go anywhere right now, it would be Alaska :)

    1. Alaska would be a dream. A colleague of mine just returned from a trip with her son. She had a blast. Have fun in Maine...the lakes region is beautiful as well. Enjoy!

  8. I want to go everywhere and anywhere. Right now, I'm really feeling pulled towards Chicago. I was hoping to go in November, we shall see!

    1. Me too, Jessica. I have never been to Chicago. My husband has, but I have not. I'm hoping we can go for a long weekend. Good luck in getting there. :-)
