Here's what I have so far...
- go to bed
- take a nap
- read a book
- catch up on magazines
- workout
- drink some water
- drink some iced tea
- go to the mall
- go to my favorite store
- go to the book store and browse the travel section--feed the wanderlust instead.
- go to book store and catch up on magazines
- go for a walk
- revise the bucket list
- research what to do instead of eating
- take a bath
- take a shower
- do laundry
- do husband . . . just checking if you're reading. ;)
- delete old pictures from albums
- watch a movie
- clean out closet
- organize junk drawer
- clean out wallet
- clean out purse
- plan next vacation or weekend away
- make love
- make art
- send naughty text to husband
- call a friend
- weigh myself
What's your secret? How do you prevent snacking? Mindless eating?

ReplyDeleteAnd the list must go on! :) We need all the distractions just not to eat. Hmm I guess for me it works when I play online game I forget to eat not just snacks even regular meals. I usually miss lunch and so I only get breakfast and dinner during a weekend. :)

DeleteHa! I love this. I have also had to train myself not to bored-snack. I also do not keep anything in the house that is unhealthy, and we have a garden full of fresh vegetables outside. It is when I look at those and go, "those don't look good, I really want some Cheez-its" that I know I am not TRULY hungry. :) Thanks for writing this, it's awesome.
